FIVE long and winding years of part-time study have recently come to an end and I would like to thank the University of Suffolk for making it happen.
The University of Suffolk was originally established as University Campus Suffolk in 2007, and subsequently became the University of Suffolk in 2016. The Waterfront Building, which is the main social and teaching space, is located in the center of the Ipswich waterfront, surrounded by bars, boats and restaurants.
It’s easy to take university for granted, especially a part-time course. I often find myself dwelling on the things I’ve missed out on, rather than the experiences I’ve gained. Maybe now it’s over, I’m looking at the experience through rose-tinted glasses, now the late nights and weekend working are a thing of the past. But at this moment in time, I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
Now I’m free, I’m hoping to restore balance. I’m hoping to set aside time for family, friends and fun. I’m hoping to prioritize the important things and live life to the full.
